About Sinharaja Forest
Sinharaja Forest Reserve is Sri Lanka's last remaining area of primary tropical rainforest and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This biodiversity hotspot covers approximately 11,187 hectares and is home to an incredible array of endemic species—over 60% of its trees and more than 50% of its mammals and butterflies are found nowhere else on Earth.
